Well known for supporting culture and the arts, TAV Airports Holding was a Gold Sponsor of the 18th Ankara International Film Festival, which strives to increase the influence of Turkish cinema in the international arena.
Successfully representing Turkey on the international stage, Fire of Anatolia took stage at the Carthage Festival as well as in Hammamet, a tourism center 80 kilometers from Tunis, for the ground breaking ceremony of the Enfidha Zine El Abidine Ben Ali Airport, under the TAV Airports sponsorship. The performance by Fire of Anatolia that took place at the magical atmosphere of the Antique Theater was met with great interest.

TAV Airports Holding was the Special Projects Sponsor for the International Istanbul Biennial, which was organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) for the tenth year. Istanbul Biennial this year hosted critics, curators, museum and gallery managers from international contemporary art circles as well as more than 300 foreign press representatives and 3,000 guests from 35 countries.
TAV Airports Holding was among the companies that provided promotional support to the Istanbul edition of CowParade, an urban art and social responsibility event. Hosted by 54 large cities throughout the world including Paris, New York, Monaco, Moscow, Sydney, Tokyo and London before Istanbul was met with great interest. The CowParade organization decorated the streets of Istanbul with specially designed colorful cows. TAV Airports Holding participated in the CowParade by sponsoring the cows Hasbahçe in Nişantaşı, Nazar (Evil Eye) in Ortaköy, GoldCow in Akmerkez, Nazar Boncuğu (Blue Bead) in Cevahir Shopping Center and Oturan Güzel (Sitting Beauty) in Kanyon. Furthermore, two CowParade cows on the air and land sides of the Atatürk Airport International Terminal and one cow at the Domestic Terminal became the center of attention of passengers. The charitable cows exhibited at CowParade-Istanbul were sold at an auction and the proceeds were donated to benefit the Street Kids Rehabilitation Association, the Mother Children Education Foundation (AÇEV) and TEMA (the Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, Reforestation and Protecting Natural Habitats).
TAV Airports Holding published the Turkish translation of the book Execution by Larry Bossidy, the CEO of Honeywell and Dr. Ram Charan, a faculty member at the Harvard Business School. The book is based on the assertion that “You may be able to beat your competitors if your strategy is correct, but you must be able to get things done in order to win." TAV Airports Holding had previously published the book Winning by Jack Welch. As in Winning, the introduction for Execution, entitled The Discipline of Getting Things Done was written by TAV Airports Holding CEO Dr. M. Sani Şener.
TAV Airports Holding provided support for the concerts of Stanley Clarke, a great world-class jazz talent and Kerem Görsev Trio, the group led by Kerem Görsev, one of Turkey’s most important jazz musicians, which took place in April 2007 at the Istanbul Jazz Center.
The Mersin Music Festival, which is the most important arts organization in Mersin, was organized for the seventh time this year and supported by MIP.
Mersin State Opera and Ballet (MDOP)’s Çağrı, the first Turkish ballet about Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, who is a global symbol of tolerance and love, was performed in Mersin with the contribution of MIP.
