Enfidha-Hammamet Airport

TAV started the construction of Enfidha-Hammamet Airport in July 2007, and after of record –breaking construction time of 823 days, started to operate it on December 2009 for a period ending in May 2047. The airport is located about 40 kilometers southwest of the historic tourist destination of Hammamet, and 100 kilometers south of the capital city, Tunis. It serves 80% of the Tunisian holiday resorts. The 130,000 m² terminal building, diamond shaped and constructed by using high technology, on 5,800 hectares of land has an annual capacity of 7 million pax. It features the highest tower in Africa, with its 90 m height, a baggage handling system capable of processing more than 4,500 piece per hour and a category II, 3,300 m long and 60 m wide runway able to accommodate all type of aircraft. Enfidha-Hammamet Airport distinguishes itself by its environment friendly operations, energy supplied by a tri-generation plant providing more than 90% of its needs in cooling, heating and electricity. This enabled the airport to be the first African airport to be awarded the Airport Council International (ACI) Carbon accreditation at the mapping level in 2013, then at the reduction level in 2014.

Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport

Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport is located few kilometers to the southern-west of Monastir city, one of the best touristic destinations in Tunisia. TAV started operating Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport at the beginning of 2008 and will keep operating the airport until the end of May 2047. Since then Monastır has undergone uninterrupted capital improvements program which allowed to efficiently enhance airport operations and to provide better services to the passengers and airlines. Easily accessible within two hours from Europe, Monastir Airport is one of the most important airports in Tunisia. Easy access to the airport by diverse convenient transportation means including car rental, taxi, buses and railway is available. Monastir Habib Bourguiba airport was selected in 2010 as “The Best Emerging Airport” in Africa.
