avaş, the longest established ground handling services company of Turkey, provides services under the roof of TAV Airports. Having awarded several times by the leading airline companies worldwide, Havaş’ main activities include passenger and luggage handling, ramp, aircraft cleaning, load control and communication, cargo, flight operations, transportation, representation and supervision services. Providing ground handling services to more than 200 airlines at 34 stations in Turkey, Germany, Latvia and Saudi Arabia, Havaş also offers airline companies cargo, mail and warehouse services on a total of 9,300 sqm area and also warehouse services at Istanbul Atatürk, Ankara Esenboğa and Izmir Adnan Menderes airports. Since December 2007, Havaş also has been operating Hopa Passenger Terminal, which is a connection point for Batumi Airport. In addition, Havaş provides transfer and passenger transportation shuttle services between airports and city centers in 19 cities.

Turkish Ground Services (TGS)

Ground handling services company Turkish Ground Services (TGS) was founded on November 2008 by Turkish Airlines to offer services at other areas of aviation under a separate company. Havaş acquired 50 per cent stake in TGS under the agreement signed with Turkish Airlines in March 2009. Claiming its place in the ground handling services sector on January 1st, 2010, TGS provides ground handling services to Turkish Airlines as well as other airline companies at 8 stations at Istanbul Atatürk, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, Ankara Esenboğa, Izmir Adnan Menderes, Antalya, Adana, Milas-Bodrum and Dalaman airports. This partnership established with the largest airline company of Turkey is very important in terms of long term growth strategies of Havaş.

Havaş Europe

Havaş provides ground handling services at 7 airports in Latvia and Germany through Havaş Europe, an overseas subsidiary, of which Havaş owns 67 per cent of its shares. Havaş Europe is a member of Airport Service Association (ASA) and IATA Ground Handling Council (IGHC) and Riga Station (RIX), the headquarters of the company, is certified with ISAGO. Reserving the right to provide full ground handling services at airports it operates, Havaş Europe currently operates at Riga Airport in Latvia, and at Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin Tegel, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf airports in Germany.

Havaş Saudi Arabia
Aiming to expand its services both towards the east and the west, Havaş Saudi Arabia was founded under the partnership of Havaalanları Yer Hizmetleri A.Ş, TAV Airports Holding and Al Rajhi Holding on December 23rd, 2012 and started its operations at Madinah Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport on April 4th, 2014. Havaş is proud to be the first Turkish company that was issued a ground handling services license, which enables the company to provide all ground handling services, in Saudi Arabia.

TAV Gözen

TAV Gözen Aviation, of which Havaş owns 32.4% stake in the company, was founded by Havaalanları Yer Hizmetleri A.Ş., Gözen Holding and Türkmen Aviation in June 2008 at Istanbul Atatürk Airport to provide hangar, technical support, crew accommodation, and aircraft cleaning services to private jets. TAV Gözen Aviation commenced its operations to provide support to private jets on March 2009 in a 1,500 sqm hangar.
