“TİKAV Scholarship Inspired Me to Contribute to Society”

“First of all, I would like to express my condolences to our nation for the earthquake disaster we experienced on February 6th. As a university student living and studying in Hatay, I was affected both financially and spiritually by this disaster. During this period, Akfen-TİKAV provided assistance to many students, including me, both financially and spiritually, enabling us to continue our education. Your support has not only inspired me to excel academically but also to contribute to society. I hope that one day, just as you have helped me, I will also help students achieve their goals and continue their education. Thank you for your support.”

Another TİKAV scholarship recipient, İlayda, stated: “I was caught in the Hatay earthquake centered on Kahramanmaraş on February 6th. I went through a very difficult process. We lost our loved ones and relatives. We stayed in tents for a long time. This period was very difficult for me, as it was for everyone affected by the earthquake. The situation we were in caused disruptions not only in many aspects of our lives but also in our education. The scholarship I received from you helped me in covering some of my education expenses. Thank you very much for your support.”
