As part of its special program for December 21, the longest night of the year, Terminal Kadıköy brought together gastronomy, art, and engaging conversations to offer a multi-dimensional experience where families, children, and visitors of all ages could spend time together.

Within this scope, the “Chefs Compete” event held at 7DE7, Terminal Kadıköy’s gastronomy area, transformed kitchen ingredients into New Year-themed decorations, resulting in creative designs. The chefs’ creations were evaluated through votes cast by visitors.

The “Chefs Compete” event organized in the 7DE7 kitchens at Terminal Kadıköy offered a creative experience that carried the New Year spirit from the kitchen to festive decorations. The competition, featuring chefs working in the 7DE7 kitchens, attracted strong interest from Terminal Kadıköy visitors.

As part of the event, chefs reinterpreted the street food offerings at their own kiosks with a New Year theme. Ingredients normally used in the 7DE7 kitchens were not only used to create flavors, but also to design imaginative New Year decorations. Throughout the event, the creations on display were voted on by 7DE7 visitors, and at the end of the day, the chef receiving the highest number of votes was selected as the winner of the “Chef Challenge.” The most creative product was determined entirely by visitor votes, reflecting the event’s interactive nature.

Located within Terminal Kadıköy, 7DE7 stands out as a dynamic gastronomy area that approaches street food through an experience-driven perspective, bringing together diverse culinary cultures under one roof.

Shaped in collaboration with MSA (Culinary Arts Academy), the kitchen concept places quality and creativity at its core, offering visitors not only flavors but also an experience focused on interaction and discovery through its chefs and kiosks.
