Ekin Ereke, a national athlete supported by Akfen İnşaat and competing for both the Turkish National Cycling Team and Büyükçekmece Municipality Sports Club, achieved a significant success by finishing 4th in the Elite Women’s category at the International Antalya MTB Cup C1 Race held on February 16.

Thanks to the results she achieved in mountain bike races throughout 2024, Ekin Ereke earned the title of Türkiye’s number one athlete in the international rankings. With this important achievement, she was invited to the 2025 Season Opening Women’s National Mountain Bike Team Camp, making a strong start to the new season while wearing the national team jersey.

Ekin Ereke, supported by Akfen İnşaat and representing both the Turkish National Cycling Team and Büyükçekmece Municipality Sports Club, successfully completed intensive testing during the Women’s National Mountain Bike Team Camp held between January 22 and February 16, 2025. Following her strong performance at the camp, she achieved 4th place in the Elite Women’s category at the International Antalya MTB Cup C1 Race on February 16, marking a successful start to 2025.

Competing in this prestigious race where national teams from many countries battled fiercely, Ereke represented Büyükçekmece Municipality Sports Club with Akfen İnşaat as the main sponsor. She had also earned the title of Türkiye’s number one athlete based on the results she achieved in mountain bike races throughout 2024.

Invited to the 2025 Season Opening Women’s National Mountain Bike Team Camp as a result of this important achievement, Ereke stated that her goal is to achieve significant results in European competitions.
