Events held throughout the day—including a ceremonial procession, the salutation of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s wax statue, and DJ performances—allowed visitors to fully experience the spirit of the national holiday.

In the evening, the legendary band Yeni Türkü took the stage, creating unforgettable moments for the crowd gathered at Terminal Kadıköy with their iconic songs. The concert, during which participants sang along in unison, crowned the Victory Day celebrations by blending patriotic excitement with music.

Bringing together culture, art, sports, gastronomy, and entertainment, Istanbul’s new lifestyle destination Terminal Kadıköy hosted an unforgettable celebration on August 30 Victory Day, welcoming visitors from all corners of the city.

The day-long program began with a procession saluting the wax statue of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, located on the historic train at Terminal Kadıköy. Drawing great interest from visitors, the procession spread the festive atmosphere throughout the venue. This was followed by a DJ performance on the Platform Stage, setting the rhythm for the evening and entertaining attendees ahead of the Yeni Türkü concert.

At 8:00 PM, the legendary band Yeni Türkü took the stage, captivating the atmosphere of Terminal Kadıköy with their timeless songs. Hundreds of Istanbulites sang along to the band’s most beloved works, taking the Victory Day excitement to its peak.

Guests arriving from across Istanbul experienced Terminal Kadıköy’s dynamic spirit not only through gastronomy, but also through art, music, and entertainment, witnessing a truly memorable national holiday celebration.
